Improvement of technological process of release of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas from the automobile gas cylinder

Today the liquefied hydrocarbon gas is widely used in life, and also as motor transportation fuel. Due to the fuel rise in price, the number of the drivers installing gas equipment increases. Use of the gas device is effective from the economic and ecological points.

We call gas-cylinder cars in which gas cylinders are established. Besides, cars can work in any kind of natural gas motor fuel. At the same time, in connection with change of the principle of bringing of gas to the engine changed also build fittings of hook safety lock of automobile gas cylinder. Gas cylinders are intended for storage of necessary reserve of gas in cars. Today number of gas cylinders is not limited. Till 90-s, cylinders were collected from separate valves, were equipped with hook — the relief valves installed at bottom and neck of cylinder. When filling such cylinders to check filling, draining off of gas was carried out to the atmosphere through valve, it led to environmental pollution. As a result, there was need of change of technologies of filling of cylinders, it led to improvement of its ISA.

Modern rod is the multivalve integrating the device of the automatic limiter of filling of cylinder and the relief valve, the index of level of gas, filling and distribution valves. The high-speed valve in distribution lines is installed in the multivalve to the place of separate valves, and also to the place of filling valve the taken filling device with the check valve is installed. The check valve is capable to pass freely from the gas-filling device to the filled cylinder and is springing-hook element which protects gas flow back from cylinder. In gas cylinder assemblies with separate valve there was no check valve, unpleasant effects were possible in it during rupture of the gas pipeline. The high-speed valve of distributing manifold is intended for restriction of gas discharge on distributing manifold, at sudden increase in speed of the gas passing through the distributing manifold. Increase in speed of passing of gas can happen during the damage of distributing manifold or at separation of the wire line. For the production of the multivalve the ecological and economic reasons exerted impact1. During filling of gas cylinder it is possible to avoid environmental pollution, tightness of cylinder increases and for reduction of production of gas the number valve opening is reduced. At production of economic ISA the expense of metal is lowered.

Today from the established autogas system of cars 90% use multivalves with the high-speed valve instead of cylinders with separate valve.

From such cylinders it is not possible to let out gas because the high-speed valve will prevent gas discharge freely. Draining off of liquified petroleum gas from gas cylinders is necessary when testing by filling with gas sealing of cylinder in time for installation of power supply system with gas and at failure of ISA during filling with gas.
If we pass liquified petroleum gas in circumambient, it can accumulate in hollows, breaks and lead to death of the person or material expenses, or can be of danger of explosion.

For improvement of this technology process, we will dismantle from the multivalve to the high-speed valve, we will establish the three to the distribution valve. And the high-speed valve goes after the tee (pic.1). Time which is left on draining off of liquified petroleum gas to increase effect, we will take corner of the tee in value of 1200 (pic.2).

Conclusion

To make possible the gas discharge from the gas-cylinder cars need to make changes to the set of LPG equipment, add a line for discharging LPG, which includes filling equipment without check valve to drain the LPG valve to turn off the filling equipment from the gas supply line and the tee and reinstall the flow valve of the multivalve tee in the motor side.
